We all have a burning goal and desire in life, filled with youthful and glorious thoughts of a bright future and where we should be, but only a handful with such a goal often take with them their accomplishment to thier graves. What would you like to be remembered for and by? A quite live with no sign of existence or a man or woman of valour whose accomplishment is littered on the page of history and most importantly imprinted as monuments in the hearts of people? That is quite a question i know but a well thought one to be reviewed and answered in all regards with every inch of sincerity.
Our brain can only consciously process a minute percentage of the data and stimulus we encounter. Our brain power usage is only a tenth of its actual potential as we most undermine using it. For survival and sanity our brains are wired to deliver the data it deems important. Importance is defined by whatever we train or teach our brain to focus on or act, believe upon. This is a logical explanation why negative people tend to have bad days and positive people tend to have good days. Haven’t you ever gotten really pissed off, angry and irritated at a chubby happy merry-go colleague(s),friend who never seems to have a bad day and you wonder how he or she could possibly be so composed, confident and totally ignore every little bad circumstance? I can assure you, you’re most absolutely right, He or She is ignoring the bad stuff – but not with a conscious state of mind but unconsciously without even knowing it. His or her brain simply filters it out because he or she’s not focused on it. So as far as he or she’s concerned the bad situation or circumstance never happened or occurred, or it wasn’t translated as “bad” with an emotional response.
The fear factor’s Effect on The Brain Power
Fear as often defined is false evidence appearing real fear is the single most powerful enemy of humankind, countless would have been great men and women have succumbed to her seductive and yet woeful power. Fear is the greatest seductress the world has ever known, it eats deep into you with a feeling like none before and it renders you worthless after sucking the living light of success, boldness and determination in you. Most of us face our fear when we attempt to succeed at something. The graveyard as we know it today is the richest abode of great men and women whose talents have been lost deep and buried in the pages of time, who out of their own fear where not bold, confidence enough to believe and exercise in themselves their God given talents. Would you rather be timid and fearful or be bold and show the world what potentials you have got? What is the price or boldness compared to a shameful act of cowardice? I leave you to be the judge of what actions you take, decisions you make and where you want to lead your life up to, but even as we do so, be for warned that “we often neglect and or sacrifice parts of ourselves to fulfil duty, make others happy and do our job” Jaime Mintun.
